Terms & Conditions of Business

These Terms & Conditions govern all works carried out by Everstone Construction Services Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accepting a quotation, making a payment, or instructing us to proceed with works, the client (“you”, “the Customer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Quotations

1.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Quotations are based on a visual inspection only unless stated otherwise.
1.3 Any additional works required due to hidden defects or unforeseen issues will be discussed and charged separately.

2. Deposits & Payments

2.1 A deposit is required to secure booking dates, order materials, and allocate labour.
2.2 All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances once paid.
2.3 Deposits cover administrative costs, scheduling, and materials ordered.
2.4 The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of works, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.5 Late payments may be subject to additional charges.

3. Cancellations

3.1 If the Customer cancels the works after paying a deposit, no refund will be issued.
3.2 If works have commenced, the Customer remains liable for all work completed and materials supplied up to the date of cancellation.

4. Variations & Additional Works

4.1 Any changes requested by the Customer after acceptance of the quotation may affect pricing and completion times.
4.2 Additional works will only be undertaken following agreement of revised costs.

5. Materials

5.1 All materials remain the property of Everstone Construction Services Ltd until paid for in full.
5.2 We reserve the right to substitute materials with equivalent alternatives where necessary.

6. Access & Working Conditions

6.1 The Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
6.2 We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or third-party interference.

7. Weather Delays

7.1 Roofing works are weather-dependent.
7.2 We are not liable for delays caused by adverse weather conditions and will reschedule works where necessary.

8. Damage & Liability

8.1 Reasonable care will be taken to protect the Customer’s property.
8.2 We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, structural weaknesses, or hidden defects.
8.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Guarantees

9.1 Any workmanship guarantee applies only where full payment has been received.
9.2 Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, severe weather, or third-party works.

10. Waste Removal

10.1 Waste removal is included only where stated in the quotation.
10.2 The Company is not responsible for the disposal of hazardous materials unless specifically agreed.

11. Disputes

11.1 Any concerns must be raised in writing within 7 days of completion.
11.2 We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance

By proceeding with works or making any payment, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
